Our Company is dedicated to protecting your privacy when you visit or communicate with our site or personnel.  

The Privacy Policy offered here, along with our terms of use offers an explanation regarding any personal data you may provide to us or that we gather from you.

Data and Information Collected

To operate our website it is essential to collect or process certain data, such as the following:

  1. Information regarding your visits to our website, any resources you used such as traffic data, location data, weblogs, and any communication data (these items are included, but not limited to those specified).

  2. Forms filled out on our website allow us to collect information about you regarding registration or purchases you make.

  3. Any data collected from communications to us from you, for any reason.

Information Use

Any information collected and stored regarding you is to enable us to offer better services to you.  We may also use the data collected for the following:

  1. We may use data you provided in order to offer you information you asked for from out site, in direct relation to our services or products.  We may also send information on products we feel might interest you, as long as you have consented to such communications.

  2. Any commitments we made to you may require use of your information, used only to fulfil your request.

  3. We may use your information to explain any changes our website has undergone such as structural or service/ product modifications, which could affect our service to you.

  4. An existing customer may require contact regarding goods or services that were a subject of an earlier sale.

  5. We may use your data or allow third parties to use the data, in order to give you information about unrelated goods or services you may find of interest.  We may contact you about these services or goods if you consented to the contact.

  6. A new customer may be contacted by us or a third party if you have consented to such communication.

  7. If you do not wish communication from our website or a third party you will be given the opportunity to decline said communication.  We will not allow your information collected while you were on our site to be used by us or a third party if the consent is withheld.

  8. Please understand that we do not share information that is going to identify you to our advertisers. However, on occasion we may provide them with statistics about our site’s visitors.  

Personal Data Storage

  1. Data you provide us with will be stored on secure servers.  Any transaction details will be encrypted to provide you safety.

  2. Transmission of data via the internet is never completely secure, thus a guarantee of data sent electronically or transmitted cannot be given.  Information offered is therefore at your own risk.  If given a password or chosen to obtain a password, you can access the secure section, requiring the password to remain confidential by you, as your responsibility.

Change or Cancel an Order

If you need to change details of your delivery address, add items or remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact our Customer Services team via our contact page.

Please quote your order number and order date. We're sorry that it is not possible to make changes to your order once it has been dispatched.

If you'd like to add products to your order, please place a new order for these items.

Products Damaged in Transit

Prior to being dispatched all products are checked by our Quality Control Department and are supplied in perfect working order. In the event of a product arriving damaged or faulty report damage / fault to us as soon as possible, preferably by e mail within 7 working days of receiving the item.

Promo Codes offered Online

Promo Codes are sometimes offered at certain times of the year to customer's in order to offer them the very best discounts found on the internet.

The following conditions apply, Promo Codes:

  • Are only valid for stated time period.  These discounts  are not available after the expiry date.

  • Expiry dates cannot be extended or amended.

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other sales / offers / discounts / bundles or promotional pricing.

Fabrics Cut To Measurement

Please be aware that we are unable to refund, cancel or exchange cut fabrics and made-to-measure items. Also please order the total amount of fabric required for any given project as we cannot guarantee that your selected item will be available for re order or that it will be cut from the same dye batch.

Returns & Replacements Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept your timely return of unused, unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise. Used merchandise cannot be returned unless defective. Returned merchandise should include the vendor packaging and tags and be in the same condition as when it was received. A pickup and/or restock fee may apply. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you've received goods and have simply changed your mind about purchasing them, you may return the goods to us for full credit.  We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of any product being returned by the customer, therefore we recommend you use Royal Mail recorded delivery or a similar secure and insured parcel delivery service.  Please note that the below conditions:

  • The item(s) must be returned unused.

  • You must inform us of your desire to cancel as soon as possible preferably by e-mail with your order details, rather than post, within seven working days.

  • You pay the return delivery charges (we pay return charges for faulty or substituted items).

  • Delivery/Collection costs will not be credited

  • Refunds on used items will only be accepted on faulty items.

  • We will credit your account as soon as possible after the goods are returned and within a maximum of thirty days.

  • Software unsealed by the consumer cannot be returned.

  • Goods are returned with all the original contents and packaging and in a like new condition,if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging in any way (a charge may be made to bring the item back to as new condition).

  • If the product returned is not in suitable condition to be resold as new or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct  20% of the original selling price from the refund amount for re packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights

  • Domestic machinery is for household use only, refunds cannot be given if machinery is used for business purposes.

  • All items must be returned in original packaging for full refunds to be considered.  Any FREE gifts received with the product must also be returned intact.  

  • If goods are refused by us, because the above criteria are not met, we reserve the right to return items to the customer and also charge the customer's credit card for the value of the carriage.

  • Though in some cases we offer free delivery, if an item is returned to us we have the right to deduct the packaging and postage costs from the refund back to the customer

  • Fabric that is cut to customer's measurements is not refundable.

  • Please allow 10 to 14 days for the processing of your return.

We strongly recommend, when you return the product at your expense, you use a recorded and insured delivery service as we regret we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit or any return costs.

20% VAT is included in all prices. Our VAT registration number is 547521146.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.

All payment card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. This encryption begins on the form where you are asked for your credit card details. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Your information is not stored on an internet active computer so your details cannot be accessed by a third party.

Sharing Your Information

  1. If applicable, we may share your personal information with our subsidiaries or holding companies that we may work with, as well as their subsidiaries if any.

  2. We may share your information to prevent Fraud protection and to minimise credit risk may require a sharing of your information.

Shipping & Delivery

All customers should note:

  • Shipping and Delivery is the charge for Internet order processing, item selection, packaging, transport and handling.

  • Delivery times are not guaranteed, but are our best approximation and will vary with specific requests.

  • Orders normally take beetween 4-9 working days to arrive with customers.  Shipments and deliveries only occur on weekdays.

  • Shipping and Delivery can be subject to change and will be determined at the time of order and is at the discretion of the delivery service provider (ie: Royal Mail or others)

  • Estimated delivery time assumes orders are placed before 12:00 noon (UK).

  • Orders placed late on Friday or on Saturday will not be processed until Monday. Additional charges may accrue on Priority, Overnight and International shipping or if multiple attempts are made for delivery.

  • We contract third party - delivery service providers to deliver your goods.  Once your order leaves our premises the responsibility for delivery and timing lies with delivery service provider.

  • Orders under £5.00 have a delivery charge of £1.00.  Orders above this amount are delivered in the UK for FREE with our standard delivery service.  Shipping normally takes anywhere between 3-9 working days from dispatch date.  

  • Our company dispatches ‘in stock’ items within 24 hours of receiving the order.  Sometimes, there are some delays in dispatching items caused by matters not in our hands or delays in arrival of stock with the company.  We always fulfill orders within 24 hours of having the correct stock levels for your items and when they become available in our company.    

  • If you are outside of the UK, our website will not be able to accept or deliver to your location.  Please accept our apologies for this matter.

  • Some addresses (Scottish Highlands & others) may take extra delivery time.

  • Signed items - All items delivered by courier will need to be signed for. If no one is available to accept delivery, the package will be returned to your local depot. A card will be left with details to arrange redelivery of your order. We can also arrange delivery to a work address, neighbour, etc. if required.

  • Saturday and Sunday Delivery - This service is available but at extra cost. Please see if checkout in the payment pages offers you this option.  Please be aware that this option isn't available to some address IE Northern Scotland, Scottish Isles, etc. and deliveries carried out by Horn Furniture are also excluded.  This service is provided by delivery service provider.  The company is not responsible for any late deliveries.  

  • Special Order Items - some items fall under this category, they generally take longer to arrive with the purchaser as these items come directly from the manufacturer to the client.  Some sewing machines fall in this category, this also includes Sewing furniture (normally between 7-14 days), Hobby chairs, Accessories and replacements parts.  Please check the delivery period specified in the product description for details of these items.  

Out of Stock Items

In the rare event of an item being out of stock, we will contact the client by telephone or email to inform the customer about the delayed items and expected times.  

Customers have 3 options:

  1. Company dispatched the available items and send the remaining items when they become available

  2. Company dispatched the available items and refunds for the missing items

  3. Company refunds for customer for the full order and cancels the order

Non Delivery

Customers should contact the company via email for items which have been not delivered after ten days of placing the order.  The company shall do its best endeavour to rectify the matter immediately.  

We accept all major credit and debit cards

Customers can make payments through our SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 bit encryption payment system. After you have confirmed your order, you will be sent an order reference number by email.
